View from the Space Needle (2014)

One of my bucket list items ever since my first trip there in 2011 and I couldn’t have asked for a better night if I’d prayed for one. On our first night in Seattle, after we’d arrived and got settled in our hotel, we took in some of the sights (of course). There were a few bucket list items that I’d wanted to photograph and visit – the market, the original Starbucks, and finally, the Space Needle. Shrine of the Blessed Virgin Mary

St. James Cathedral, Seattle, Washington (July 2014) During our family trip to Oregon/Washington in 2014 we managed to spend a couple of days putzing around Seattle, mainly around the market area. Overall it was a great day and contributed to more than 400 photos. I had spent time trying to put together a photo bucket list before we went out there and an old church is something that I really wanted to photograph. Old churches, in general, have become something of a general bucket list item for me and I generally try and scope them out when I’m out and about.
