Some random images from my excursion in Portland & Seattle in 2014. I was trying my hand at street photography which, I confess, I still don’t understand what makes a good image and doesn’t but it was my attempt at doing it.

One of my bucket list items. We never made it here during my first trip to Seattle. I was determined to make it here at last. The Market Theater Gum Wall in Seattle. For such a confined space, I could shoot pictures here all day. I still don’t remember, to this day, why this particular spot caught my attention, but it did…Definitely a contender for the “worst place to put a sign” list. Taken during our excursion down Post Alley. Where, specifically, this photo was taken…couldn’t tell you. So, what makes a photo an example of good street photography versus a simple snapshot. Don’t know. Seattle Market.
