Last year, Alanzo had the opportunity to go to Scout Camp for the first time and I was able to accompany him as an adult leader so I got to share the week with him. I didn’t grow up in scouts so it was a new experience for me. I was very proud of my son. I think both he, and I, grew a lot during our week up there.
I brought my camera up mainly for the purpose of taking pictures of him and the other boys and documenting the week up there. The only time that I actually made for myself to photograph anything would be at night as the sun set over a couple of days. I hadn’t done much photography up to that point – something I hope to remedy soon.
